Marbella Hotel Apartments

Getting to Marbella Holiday Homes was difficult because there are no proper roads leading there, though the price was good. Inside, the smell from the rubbish room beside the apartment was bad, and there were flies. The towels were dirty and looked heavily used, there was hair on the bed, and the blanket was damaged. There was no regular cleaning, and guests are expected to keep the place clean without being given cleaning supplies. That’s pretty much impossible. Cleanliness and maintenance need serious improvement.

Be careful with these apartments. I’d inspect everything before paying a deposit, or avoid this host. The room itself was fine, but Mohamed Siraj, the host, and Raja Raja, the supervisor, were extremely unprofessional. They took a 500 AED deposit, then said we had damaged the toilet seat, although it was already broken when we checked in. There was no damage policy or official paperwork, and no checklist noting the toilet seat. They also refused to provide anything in writing to show they were keeping part of the deposit. They ended up keeping 250 AED without proper documentation.

Tendai made me feel welcome right away with a warm smile, and kept checking that I was comfortable. Whenever I needed help, Tendai responded quickly and also gave me thoughtful local recommendations. The kindness and attention to detail really stood out. Tendai is efficient, warm, and clearly cares about the work. My stay became a memorable one because of that, and I’ll definitely return. The hotel is lucky to have Tendai on the team.

The room smelled bad and was very dirty, with hair everywhere. The sofa was broken, the wallpaper was scratched and covered in doodles, and the water in the washroom didn’t work. There’s no road leading to the place, either. When I said I’d complain, the receptionist told me I could do whatever I wanted. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. When I asked to speak to the owner, he said he didn’t have time for me. They also wanted extra payment because I used a credit card, which is against UAE law. There are places at the same rate with much better service, cleanliness, and rooms. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.
