The room had complete facilities, good sanitation, and complimentary drinks. The front desk girl gave very good service, bringing hot tea right away. The hotel has an elevator with a fairly spacious interior and many rooms. It's easy to reach by car, with a free space right outside the door and parking lot spaces that don't cost anything at night. The lighting inside is a little dim.

Love OYO. The rooms are really comfortable, including both the master bedrooms and the others. The atmosphere is cool and passionate, and customer service is nice too.

The rooms are clean, just as they appear in the online brochure, and it's a lovely place for travellers to sleep. I like Middle East Hotel's cosy, quiet setting and how secure it feels for privacy, with good ways to unwind after a tiring day. The entertainment is a letdown for anyone outside the Asian clientele. There are Indian and Bengali nightclubs, but otherwise it's just the TV in the room. Most channels are for Asian or Arabic viewers, and there's one French channel. Only three are for English speakers, and just two of those have sound. BBC has no audio, like a Charlie Chaplin film. Who can follow the news by guessing what they're saying? This needs attention.

There was no proper reception, and the bar was really noisy. When we arrived, someone was fighting, which made for a bad first impression. The third floor itself isn't loud. Given the price, I suppose you can expect that.

The staff are good and the location in naif souq is strategic, but the hotel isn't very clean. They should improve the furniture and deal with the cleaning issue.
