Millennium Plaza Downtown Hotel

Breakfast with our family was especially enjoyable thanks to Mr. Ghiath, Philip, and Astuti from the Al Dana Restaurant. They were attentive and warm, always welcoming guests with a smile. We really appreciated their professionalism and care. Thank you for making the meal memorable!

The room was amazing, with a view of the museum of the future. What really stood out, though, was how Chef Susheel looked after us. We’re Indian vegetarians and our son has a nut allergy, so he made bespoke dishes for us and catered to his needs. I’ve never had food this tasty in my life. We looked forward to breakfast and dinner every day. The fried okra, or ladies fingers, was crunchy and delicious. Huge thanks to Mr. Sushil, a magician with food. An amazing hotel.

The view from the Captain’s Suite and pool area was amazing, and being close to the metro made getting around much easier. Staff were respectful, cooperative, and very helpful. Breakfast offered plenty of choices, including Arabic, Indian, and Filipino food. We had no hot water in the suite when we arrived, but reported it and it was fixed a few hours later. The bed was a small queen size and could fit two, though it wasn’t very comfortable for us. The pool was disappointing: the water didn’t look very clear, and with so many kids and families in the small space, swimming or finding a seat was difficult. We were there during Eid Al Adha, so the crowds were somewhat understandable. The hotel feels a little old, especially the furniture and interior, and needs updating. I’d say it suits families better than couples. The service was very good, but the place itself isn’t very modern or quiet.

Al-Dana dining restaurant served international food, and I usually ate all three meals there. Sarah and Loise were especially courteous and always ready to help, with such lively smiles. Thank you both, and thank you Millenium Plaza. I’d come back with my family. Emirates placed me at Millennium Plaza from 28-Feb to 7th March 2026 because of flight disruptions. During that difficult time I enjoyed staying here. It felt safe and secure for a family stay. Reception was wonderful, check-in was quick, and the staff were ready to help.
