New Dream Plaza Hotel Apartment LLC

At around 9 PM on 28.01.2026, I arrived with a confirmed Agoda booking, but the hotel refused to check me in. The receptionist left me waiting for 15 minutes without explaining anything, then mentioned a “reservation issue” and told me to wait again. Other guests who had booked through Agoda, Booking.com, and MakeMyTrip were having the same problem. Staff blamed the apps for “wrong pricing” and took no responsibility. There were no updates, solutions, or alternative options. The person at reception was very unprofessional and disrespectful. At that hour it was almost impossible to find another room, and a refund from the app could take up to 30 days. The hotel clearly doesn’t honor confirmed bookings or value customers. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Avoid it if you don’t want your trip ruined.

The room itself was cramped with too much furniture, leaving hardly any space to move. There were ants and cockroaches inside, and cigarette butts on the couch. The wardrobe was tiny, the water drainage was blocked, and the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. I stayed for a week, from 8 Feb - 15 Feb 2026, and outside the room there was usually a garbage bin in the corridor, water on the floor, and a constant bad smell. A laundry basket sat outside the door almost all the time, making the place feel dirty and poorly managed. The staff’s hygiene was zero, especially the guys at reception, omg. Such a disgrace. It was a really unpleasant stay, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

I checked in around 5 am and had paid 500 dirhams for a full one-bedroom apartment. I chose the larger apartment because they had no studio available, even though there were only two of us staying. When one person had already checked out and left, I invited my friend to visit, but reception suddenly wouldn’t let him come up to my room. They said only the two registered people were allowed, with no visitors even just to meet. I’d paid for the apartment, but this service and management were ridiculous. A waste of money, and I would highly recommend that people never stay here.

The rooms are big, cleaning is very good, and all the staff are friendly and professional. Everything was great. I’ll definitely book again and recommend it to my friends and family.
