The property looked as neat as the pictures and was nice and accessible, so overall it wasn’t a bad place. Just be aware of the AED 300 security deposit, which wasn’t shown on the Agoda listing I booked through. The property also denied being on Agoda. Bring cash, since cards won’t work. After about half an hour of discussion, they offered bank transfer as another option.

The accommodation itself is nice and reasonably priced, but dealing with the security deposit was a very bad experience. It hadn’t been mentioned when I enquired. At checkout they said the refund would be immediate, then blamed the weekend and said it would take longer. I had to insist and record what was happening before they returned the money. The way they handled it felt misleading and very unprofessional. Make sure every term is clear before you book.

The room was good, but the deposit situation made this a bad experience. We booked for one night, barely 12 hours, paid AED 250, which was fine, and were also asked for a AED 300 security deposit. They said it would be refunded as soon as we checked out. At checkout, we waited half an hour while staff blamed a network issue and said the transfer had already been sent, promising to share a screenshot. Two hours later there was still no response. When we went back, the excuse changed: the owner was travelling to Europe and they’d send it when he got there. A staff member shouted at us for “not understanding.” The money was refunded only after we started calling the tourism complaint portal. Please don’t fall for it.
