Paramount Damac Dubai/ 1 Bedroom

The access card stopped working, and reception told me to submit a MOVE IN request through the Damac living app. Neither my phone nor WhatsApp received an OTP. That's an issue with the app or Damac, not with me. Even after I provided Ejari and all the other documents, reception still wouldn't activate the card. The service was very bad. Don't rent an apartment in this building.

The Hollywood-inspired design gives Damac Towers by Paramount a distinctive feel, and the service is professional. I also liked the pools, gym, spa, and restaurants. With its great location and stunning views, it's one of the best places to stay in Dubai. Highly recommended.

The apartment's decor fooled us. The place is falling apart: the bathrooms weren't clean, there was no hot water, and the shower had no door, so water ran out while we were using it. Check-in was awful too. The first receptionist kept looking at her personal phone and said she couldn't find the agent's email, so we had to ask the agent to send it again. Then we were told to go upstairs without being warned that security needed to unlock the door. After we came back down from the 64th floor, staff said the confirmation email wasn't enough and we had to contact the agent for approval. They were rude and unhelpful throughout. After checkout I realized I'd left my thermos in the apartment. Wima at the front desk was on her personal phone, rolled her eyes and sighed when I asked to go back in, then told me to wait for security. I was already waiting 15 minutes with no update, so I asked her what was happening. She yelled that security was upstairs waiting for me, though nobody had told me that. She'd been kind to another guest who had forgotten something, which made the different treatment stand out even more. The lack of communication and rudeness were astounding. Please fix the attitude and stop taking it out on people trying to enjoy their vacation. We should've read the reviews before booking this Airbnb. Go elsewhere 🫶

Good stay with my family and infant. There was enough room for the baby to play, so it felt like home. The view was good too 😊
