President Hotel

Getting around Dubai was simple because the metro station is so close. We could reach entertainment and tourist spots without long walks or spending much on taxis. The hotel also felt welcoming, with friendly, professional staff. Charles, Rashid, Nina, and Shah Jahan were especially kind and helpful, and made us feel at home. The rooms were kept spotless by attentive housekeeping. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of good options, especially if you like Indian food. Prices felt fair for the comfort, facilities, and sense of security. I had a very satisfying stay and would recommend it to people visiting Dubai.

The buffet breakfast had lots of choices, and everything we tried tasted good. The hotel is also close to plenty of places to eat and shop. We stayed one night and found the room small but equipped with the basics, clean towels, and clean sheets. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the temperature suited us since we don't like a very cold room. There was no white light, though, and we could hear our neighbour snoring the whole time. The receptionist was calm and accommodating, and gave us an extra room card. The tourism tax was AED 10, less than at other places we've stayed. Parking was listed as available, but the receptionist said it wasn't, so call to check before arriving. Good value for money overall. The staff were wonderful, though I don't know their names. Please pass along our thanks.

The restaurant Kovalam deserves a mention of its own. The food tastes authentic and is impeccable, and Mr. Brunal, Mr. Sadanand, and the whole waiting team made dining there a great experience with their attentive service. I've stayed at the President Hotel in Karama several times, and it has become a home away from home because of the people. At the front desk, Mr. Shahroz, Naina, Charles, Rashid, and Shahjan are warm, welcoming, and happy to chat. They really care how you're doing. The housekeeping team is just as good. Ms. Dawa personally checked in and offered help, which I appreciated. Her floor supervisors, Cyril and Krishna, are a real asset. Neeraj and Naresh cleaned my room most days and remembered my preferences every time. Sagar and Johnson are great at their jobs too. Thanks to everyone at President Hotel for making me feel like family.

A special thank you to Johnson, the housekeeper. He was honest and professional, and always had a smile. All the staff were polite and gave me a warm welcome throughout my stay. I'll definitely come back to this hotel.
