Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk Residence

The Egyptian-inspired architecture paired with French luxury gives Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk a distinctive atmosphere. My room was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, with an amazing bed and a luxurious bathroom stocked with high-end amenities. The staff were professional and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Breakfast had a wide range of fresh, high-quality options, while the clean, relaxing pool was a lovely place to unwind after a busy day. It was a memorable stay that exceeded my expectations. I’d highly recommend the hotel in Dubai for business or leisure, and I'll definitely return.

Baha, the manager, really stood out for his professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was right, and the whole team was friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well managed. You can tell the staff take pride in their work. I had an excellent stay, highly recommend the hotel, and will definitely return. Thank you to Baha and the whole team.

The views are incredible, and the rooms are stunning, spacious, and well equipped. We’re in a luxury room on the 31st floor. Breakfast is outstanding, and the gorgeous pool is very well serviced. All the staff have been wonderful, and we're so glad we chose this hotel. Special shout-out to Md chant and Durga from housekeeping. They make the room up efficiently and beautifully, and are so lovely about checking every day that everything is okay. Thanks to everyone at the hotel!

The hotel connects straight into Wafi Mall, so you can walk from the lobby to Carrefour without going outside. Handy for picking up snacks and drinks. Getting around was easy too: the porters arranged taxis and advised us whether Uber or a regular cab made more sense at that time of day. We had a late flight, and reception stored our luggage while we continued using the facilities. We stayed in a Luxury deluxe room. It was roomy and spotless, with great pillows and a comfortable mattress, and casting to the TV worked fine. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and freestanding tub, with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Balmain toiletries were provided, along with complimentary filtered water, and housekeeping could bring extras like a toothbrush or razor. They even left a cake for my birthday, which was a lovely touch. The pool was warm and clean, with music, plenty of loungers and towels, and cabanas for larger groups. The pool bar was quiet and the staff attentive. There are plenty of lifts, and the bright corridors have lovely wall decor. Breakfast had lots of options, including healthy choices like chia seed desserts and detox smoothies. The English breakfast was fine, and there was an egg station for omelettes and eggs Benedict. The club lounge had snacks and drinks, but it wasn't a feast, and there was no alcohol during the day. It was more of a quiet place away from other guests. Breakfast there was the same as downstairs, so I'm not sure the lounge was worth adding to the bill. Check-in was quick: passport, payment, and done. Signing up for the All Accor app was mentioned too.
