Somewhere Hotel Apartment

The Royal Suite had two rooms, one king bed and two single beds, and was very spacious. Somewhere Hotel Apartment is a great place to stay in a convenient area beside City Centre Deira station on the Red Line and City Centre Deira Mall. The hotel's convenience store stays open 24 hours and has basic everyday items. Day to Day and a gift shop are nearby for souvenirs. Taxis are easy to get, and the bus stop is a short walk away. Everything was easy and I really liked staying here. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely come back.

We stayed for a month, but service had really declined by the end. The porters were helpful, while reception needs customer service training. The manager, Sameer, seemed clueless. On our final morning, the 27th, reception called to confirm checkout even though we'd booked for a month. They were very persistent and wouldn't help at all while I frantically looked for another place. Everyone seemed confused, our deposit wasn't refunded, and staff were completely uncooperative. The last day was a nightmare.

I only stayed overnight and was nervous after reading the reviews, but it turned out to be a comfortable stay. The location in Deira is great, staff were pleasant, check-in was easy, and the room was clean. It isn't luxurious, but the sheets and towels were clean and soft, the pillows were good, the room was spacious, and the kitchenette worked well. Shampoo and conditioner were provided. For me, it was good value for money. A few things were missing, such as moisturizer and tissue boxes, and there was only one place to plug in US-style plugs. I was on the 10th floor and heard street noise now and then, like emergency vehicles, but nothing that kept me awake.

We arrived on time, but our guest still wasn’t allowed to check in and had to wait for hours. When we raised the issue, the Front Office Manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. A terrible experience, and completely unacceptable hospitality. We’ll never recommend this property.
