Studio Apartment in Azizi Farishta

I lived on the 10th floor for three years. The built-in cooker, fridge, and washing machine were poor quality, and maintenance is costly. The AC wasn't sufficient in summer, and there were leaks when it rained heavily.

The neighbors' food smell mixed with the constant, irritating garbage odor was unbearable. I repeatedly asked management to install an odor eliminator in the hallway near the garbage disposal, but they paid no attention. This is the worst apartment I've ever experienced in my life.

The street noise is awful here. Even with the balcony shut, passing cars and construction sound just as loud as when it's open. Inside the building, you can hear neighbors talking, a child crying, music, or furniture moving, and the corridor siren goes off often too. Ventilation is another problem. The bathrooms stay damp, and food smells from nearby apartments drift into the hall even when I haven't cooked. I also had an allergic reaction after using the water, which has never happened to me elsewhere in Dubai. My eyes burn and I sneeze often in the apartment, and I worry something in the air could be causing it. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

There's plenty of parking, and the surroundings are quiet. Malls, the metro, a temple, clinics, salons, and mini marts are all close by. There's also a nice spot to walk a child or a pet. The apartment was great, but cockroaches are a major issue in homes near the garbage chute, even after repeated pest control. Water leaks also happen from time to time.
