Studio Apartment in Spring Oasis

I lived in the building in 2018 and 2019, and it was worth paying a little more than for other buildings nearby. The place has a park on the 7th floor, plus a swimming pool and gym on the top floor. There’s also a laundry, restaurants, and a Choithrams supermarket with food and other things you might need. It’s a very nice, spacious building, and the best and cleanest in the area.

I lived here for five years. It used to be good, but the tower has gone downhill lately, and the rent no longer makes sense for a building of its age. The garden and small lake have looked ridiculous for the last two years, and the lake is dry. Sewage smells get into the apartment, and despite using filters on every sink, the drains still block. The gym is barely a gym, with a couple of running machines that are broken most of the year. Birds leave droppings on balconies, windows, clothes, and belongings, and the mess attracts insects. We complained dozens of times to security about tenants feeding them, but nothing was done, so we ended up blocking our windows and balconies. The building used to be free of insects until 2022, but in 2023 management cut back pest control. We keep the place very clean, and we stopped seeing the pest control notices that used to be posted. There’s no visitor parking. If you have more than one car, good luck renting an RTA space outside for 4500 AED a year, with street parking costing 4 AED per hour. The nearby roundabout can also add 20 minutes because of the schools and the Dubai Silicon Oasis entrance and exit. This overpriced building isn’t worth what they ask, and it’s not a pleasant place to stay. You’d be better off choosing a newer building in DSO.

The view is nice, but cleaning it is very difficult for the workers. I hope they get new equipment. Technology still hasn’t improved, and this is a clear example. Watch the video.

It’s a clean, neat building where families can enjoy a peaceful stay. The view is fantastic, and it’s 25 stories tall. There’s a swimming pool, gym, kids’ play area, and sauna. Choithiram is right in the building, open 24 hours, and offers free home delivery. Lots of food places are nearby, including Salam namaste, Annapurna, Puranmal, one square meal, vietnamese restaurant, Dominos, and McDonald's. A school is within walking distance, and Life Pharmacy is close by too. It’s in a prime spot in Dubai Silicon Oasis.
