Stuning studio with balcony in Damac Celestia

I wouldn't recommend living here at all. I paid 35000 aed for a one-bedroom, and every day it felt like I was living among bird shit. LOAMS is one of the worst building management companies. They don't clean or take care of anything, and the team in the building is mostly useless. They treat you as if they own the place and won't help. They damaged the AC pipeline in my apartment and refuse to fix it. When I raise issues, they tell me to send emails, then don't reply. If you're thinking of renting here, just don't.

Don't move in here. The building is poorly maintained and cleaned, the chiller barely cools on some days, and the fire alarms keep going off. Security often doesn't help. Your apartment access card can suddenly stop working, and they'll tell you to wait until morning for it to be activated again. Parking is a mess: anyone can take any spot, and cars that have been warned stay there for months. I even got a police fine while parked in the spot listed on my access card. The B2 parking route is a daily test drive because the curves are so tight. Inside the apartment, the fridge is noisy enough to disturb your sleep, the gas cooker leaves black residue on everything, the dining table and chairs feel so weak they'll easily break, and the lighting is poor. Brokers are around the building reception and halls all the time, making them feel like an amusement park.

The pool is amazing, and for such an isolated spot in the desert it's a very nice building with good amenities. We ran into so many problems in our rooms that we had to change rooms. Some reception behavior was unprofessional. They wanted a cash deposit of 1000 AED, or a bank deposit that they said might take 45 days to refund. To be fair, it took less than a week.

I moved in during September/2024, and the problems started on day one. The pigeons seem to own the place and leave droppings everywhere. One neighbor leaves cat litter by the door and uses the balcony for storage; on the other side there are piles of pigeon poop. Pigeons also live and nest above, so much so that I can't put furniture on my balcony. I've emailed several times and gone to the office in person, but nothing gets resolved. They say they'll fix it, then nothing happens. The last I heard, they don't have the budget to deal with the pigeons. Management is nonexistent. Don't move here, especially if you have kids. This place doesn't deserve a star.
