Sun & Sands Seaview Hotel

Sun & Sands Sea View Hotel is an affordable 3★ option in Dubai’s Deira/Al Khaleej area, around a 15-minute drive from the international airport. It has air-conditioned rooms, free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and a 24-hour front desk. Some guests praise the polite, helpful staff and the handy location near shops, transport, and Dubai attractions. Feedback is mixed, though. The facilities and décor feel basic next to newer hotels, and the property seems dated and in need of renovation. Some rooms show wear, and cleanliness can vary between stays. Noise may also disrupt sleep: guests have mentioned the on-site nightclub music, airport traffic, and busy roads, with limited soundproofing. It’s a budget-friendly choice for shorter stays, but some rooms could use better upkeep and a deeper clean.

I stayed one night, from 9th to 10th Feb, and had a great experience. Mr. Mehboob was clear and helpful when assisting me, and he also helped sort out an issue with the basement parking staff. I’d ask management to train the parking team to understand the customer’s point of view and guide people properly, so unnecessary arguments can be avoided. The next morning I arrived a little early for breakfast, and Mr. Mehboob went straight to the restaurant staff to ask them to help me. It was a wonderful hotel stay overall. It would be even better if hotel management took control of the basement parking.

Sanjay at reception made things easy for me. He was friendly, quick, and really accommodating, which helped make my stay comfortable and hassle-free. The staff were professional and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!

The room didn't have enough towels, and there was no bath mat. The pool was supposed to open at 9, according to the website, but when I called reception at 9:30, I was told the lifeguard hadn't arrived and it wouldn't open until 10:30. With checkout at noon, that doesn't leave much time to swim. Poor service.
