The Dubai Edition Hotel

Farah and Nermeen were so kind and welcoming, and their wonderful hospitality made my stay even more memorable. The Dubai EDITION is in a perfect location, with easy access to everything in the city. My room was comfortable, elegant, and beautifully maintained, and the service was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

The pool was a highlight: a quiet, upscale-feeling place with greenery, comfortable loungers, and an infinity edge facing the Burj Khalifa. The views are unobstructed and breathtaking, whether you’re in the sun during the day or watching the tower light up at night. Staff brought drinks and snacks to our loungers, too. The Dubai EDITION sits in Downtown Dubai, just steps from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, which made exploring easy. Its modern, sleek design feels luxurious but welcoming. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had stunning skyline views. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom amenities were top-notch. Staff were friendly and attentive, ready to help with recommendations and arrangements. A great choice for refined luxury without excess. Five stars, and I can’t wait to return.

The location is still a strong point, and the staff were a clear improvement over my previous visit: cordial, present, and helpful. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the EDITION look remains pleasing. I came back mainly because I needed to be in Downtown, though many problems hadn’t improved, and a few things were worse than I expected. Traffic noise was clearly audible even on the 15th floor, just as it had been on a lower floor last time. The sofas and armchairs show wear, and the AC light is far too bright in a dark room. The basics also fell short for a five-star hotel in Dubai. The minibar was empty unless requested, and there were no good complimentary snacks instead. The water came in plastic bottles, the coffee was poor quality and not even Nespresso, the towels were thin and threadbare, and the pillows were completely flat and overused. My room wasn’t ready until 5:00 PM, which meant a long wait. I knew about some of the flaws from my last stay but gave the hotel another chance. Structural problems may be hard to fix, but it’s surprising there’s so little investment in things like towels, pillows, and amenities. I love the EDITION brand, so I’m surprised Marriott doesn’t step in to protect its reputation.

I’ve had few hotel stays as nice as this one, and I’d absolutely come back. The Dubai EDITION has a calm, luxurious feel and looks beautiful and elegant. The location is great for enjoying Downtown Dubai. Our room was stylish, super clean, and comfortable, and the welcoming, attentive staff made everything better from the moment we arrived.
