Tulip Hotel Apartments

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We left after trying to stay as long as we could for the convenient location. The service, facilities, cleanliness, and overall experience were far below what the price should get you. The biggest unresolved problem was our AED 7,500 security deposit. When we decided to leave because of the issues, we were told it wouldn’t be refunded. We followed up and asked repeatedly, but got no proper explanation, clear communication, or resolution. We have still received no update. There was no damage or valid reason given for keeping the money, which feels completely unfair. Other problems started as soon as we arrived. Reception staff were unwelcoming and unprofessional, and even basic check-in and payment interactions were handled poorly. The gym seemed neglected, and the room and bathroom weren’t kept to an acceptable standard. We also found what appeared to be bed bugs on the bed, making the stay very unpleasant. Housekeeping staff regularly asked guests for online reviews and talked about gifts or rewards in return. I’ve been here for almost 22 days. The other services have generally been fine, and Iman was polite and helpful. He did a great job keeping the room clean, and I appreciated his service. The main problem is the WiFi. It’s extremely slow and makes it hard to work from the room. I told management twice, but there was no real support or improvement. Overall, the stay has been okay.

I’ve taken a long-term rental at Tulip Hotel, and the stay has been pleasant so far, apart from the first day when the room wasn’t good. The room service staff are accommodating, diligent, and friendly. I appreciate their daily visits and effort. Saru and Sundari are especially helpful.

The problem was the way I was treated and spoken to, not just the pressure to pay for another room. The policies are unclear, staff give conflicting information, and the rules seem to shift depending on the situation. It was embarrassing, judgmental, and unprofessional. As a business manager, I know how much customer experience affects a company’s reputation. There are better hotel apartments around Mankhool with clearer policies and more respectful service, so I wouldn’t recommend this one. I stayed almost 45 days in a one-bedroom apartment at Tulip Hotel Apartment, Mankhool. Reception had clearly told me that visitors were allowed between 8 AM and 10 PM, and people had visited before without a problem. Then, after 45 days, the reception supervisor, Amad, suddenly said visitors weren’t allowed. When I pointed out that I’d had visitors before, I was told those visitors were male, but because this visitor was a lady, I’d need to pay extra or take another room. I felt strongly that this demand was unfair.
