The atmosphere is quiet and the views are lovely, making this an amazing place. I especially enjoyed the food at Wshee restaurant. My thanks to the chef, the restaurant staff, and the reception team for their great service.

The views and rooms were very nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is quite pricey, though, and the water pressure wasn’t great.

Najd Al Meqsar by Sharjah Collection is a peaceful, beautifully preserved property surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. It has the charm of stepping back in time while still providing modern comfort. Mrig made breakfast particularly pleasant. He was humble, polite, efficient, and genuinely attentive, with a warm manner and a willingness to go the extra mile. His service reflected the high hospitality standards of the property and made the morning feel relaxed. This is an excellent choice for tranquility, heritage atmosphere, and top-class service. We would absolutely visit again.

Najd Al Meqsar Heritage Hotel by Sharjah Collection is a remarkable adults-only retreat in the Khor Fakkan mountains. Our one-night stay combined Emirati history, dramatic scenery, and modern comfort, while the restored mountain village created a serene atmosphere that felt wonderfully removed from everyday life. Because the property has only seven Kareen Houses, advance planning is important. We booked our Kareen Double Room through Booking.com well before the trip, which was wise because rooms fill quickly. A last-minute booking may be difficult here. The approach through the Wadi weShie archaeological site felt like entering another world. From its high position, the hotel looks across rolling hills, dense forests, and distant horizons. The 300-year-old fort and carefully restored stone houses immediately established the heritage character. Free private parking was convenient and secure, with electric vehicle charging and bicycle parking available as well. Our Kareen Double Room brought traditional Emirati craftsmanship together with present-day comforts. Stone walls, hand-hewn wooden beams, and a thatched roof gave it a rustic feel, while the king-size bed, air conditioning, and complimentary Wi-Fi kept it comfortable. It was spotlessly clean, and the private balcony had stunning Hajar Mountains views, especially at sunset. A smart TV, minibar, espresso machine, and luxurious bathrobes added to the comfort. The lighting was the one small weakness, since it was either very bright or quite dark and had no dimmer switch. Wishi Restaurant was another highlight. It is open from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM and offers international and Emirati food, including halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free choices. We had a freshly prepared continental breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful mountain view. The team made the stay especially memorable. The 24-hour front desk gave us a warm welcome, and the service remained attentive. Hassan served us an incredible breakfast, while Lotfy greeted us warmly and told us fascinating stories about the hotel’s history and the Wadi Shie archaeological site. His enthusiasm for the heritage made the property feel even more special. Everyone was kind and professional, creating a home-away-from-home feeling.
