Liwa Hotel Abu Dhabi

Birdsong, quiet, and a real feeling of peace made this a lovely reset. The staff and management took genuine care to make us comfortable, and the hotel combines traditional Arabian hospitality with a warm, personal atmosphere. It would suit solo travellers, couples, or families looking for some downtime.

We came from Dubai for a few days after the Iranian strikes and found the stay calm and reassuring. The hotel had plenty of good room choices, tasty food, nearby outdoor adventures, and exceptionally thoughtful service. Elsham, the manager, deserves special thanks for welcoming us warmly and making extra efforts to help us feel secure after fleeing Dubai. We’d happily return for another quiet staycation. The peaceful desert setting makes Liwa Hotel a great place to slow down. Our room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, while the facilities were kept in very good condition. Staff were friendly, professional, and quick to help. We also enjoyed the food, which was very good and came with a nice range of choices. It’s a comfortable base for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty of Liwa.

The desert views, quiet atmosphere, and spotless surroundings made Liwa Hotel feel like a movie adventure. I loved sitting on the gallery with a coffee and a book, waking to birdsong, and seeing some of the best sunsets of my life before looking up at the stars at night. The pool is large and clean, with loungers facing the desert, and the gym is fully equipped. The staff were especially polite and helpful, including Eslam, Radoy, Sahay, and “HARRY” in the restaurant. As a professional barista, “HARRY” made wonderful coffees and cappuccinos, always with a quiet smile and great professionalism. They also suggested activities nearby, including stables, farms, and desert excursions. December is worth booking ahead for because of the Liwa Festival. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the whole place truly felt like a “Pearl of the Desert.” Congratulations to its owner.
