Al Hamra Village

Al Hamra Village Hotel worked really well for our group of 21, including 12 adults and 9 children. The facilities were clean, well maintained, and suitable for a large family group, while the children had lots of room to enjoy themselves in a safe and welcoming setting. The whole team was friendly and professional, from reception through housekeeping, and they were always ready to help. Mr. Akash from housekeeping especially stood out. He kept our rooms in excellent condition, paid close attention to details, and was consistently positive and dedicated. It was a comfortable, stress-free stay for everyone. We highly recommend Al Hamra Village Hotel for families and larger groups, and we hope to visit again.

The quiet, green surroundings and the two lovely swimming pools made it easy to relax at Al Hamra Village Hotel. We had a very pleasant stay. Our room was clean, and housekeeping brought anything we needed without delay. The staff in general were kind and helpful. A special thank you to Rihab at reception, who was warm, professional, and made us feel welcome throughout the stay. Mina and Mohsin were wonderful as well. Thank you for such a warm and comfortable experience. We would gladly come back.

The room was spacious, clean, and good overall, with a very nice bathroom and acceptable air conditioning. The cleaning staff did a good job every day and kept refilling the water bottles. Unfortunately, the reception team was not very helpful or welcoming. At check-in, they did not explain basic things such as where the restaurant and pools were or what time they operated. The Hamra village pool is not temperature controlled. Guests wanting a temperature-controlled pool have to use the residence hotel pool across the road. A buggy is provided, but you still have to cross the main road wearing pool clothes and carrying all your pool items. The all-inclusive food was the biggest disappointment and was nowhere near worth what we paid. The same menu was repeated at every meal, with only one chicken dish, one beef dish, and one fish dish, while the curry flavours changed. There were just two or three salads, and the same pastries appeared at lunch and dinner and again the next day. Food ran out quickly and was not refilled. We were shocked that there was no seafood at all, not even prawns. Even though many guests were staying and it was a weekend, the menu was far below average and the taste was repetitive. We felt like we had been fooled. The drinks near the restaurant were also not up to standard, although the residence pool bar was good. We have stayed in many all-inclusive places, and this was only an average experience. Overall, it was not worth the amount we paid.

Jemima and Deep were kind, helpful, and ready to assist us with everything, including the upgrades. Sadaqat also did a great job showing us the rooms and helping with other matters. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. I would truly recommend this place, and the team deserves a lot of praise. Good job, everyone!
