Camphor Hotel

A quiet, calm, and affordable hotel. The staff are friendly, and it seems like a good choice for families coming to Ras Al Khaimah for a staycation.

I booked a week but wanted to leave as soon as I arrived. Even after arguing with management and Agoda, they refused to give any refund. The room was filthy and unsafe. There was a used towel with blood stains in the bathroom, stained furniture, cockroaches, and a broken glass table that was a serious hazard. It honestly seemed as if nothing had been cleaned. The TV didn't work either, and the area felt unsafe. Noise from the hotel's club also woke us early in the morning. One of the worst hotel stays I've had. Avoid this place and stay somewhere else.

We checked in at 9pm and checked out at 9.30pm the same night so we could move to another hotel. We were given the 3rd floor, where the room was full of ladies and appeared to be filled with bunk beds. The condition was terrible. The sofa was damaged and covered in tape, there were many mosquitoes and flies, and the whole room smelled of smoke. I don't understand how this hotel is still operating and listed on Agoda and other ecommerce sites.

The hotel had a relaxing, elegant atmosphere, and everything felt well looked after. My room was spacious, modern, and clean, with a comfortable bed and a cozy seating area. The bathroom was luxurious and had all the equipment I needed. The staff were professional, polite, and attentive throughout my stay. The gym and restaurant were also excellent, so I had a fantastic experience here.
