Desert Inn Resort and Camp

The beautiful location, cleanliness, and satisfying service made this a peaceful desert escape. The open buffet was enjoyable, and the fire and belly dance shows brought some energy to the evening. Mohammed deserves special thanks for being so helpful, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. Definitely recommended.

Desert Inn Resort Camp gave us a very disappointing experience. We booked two rooms for a 12-member team and clearly asked for a room with a private pool. Everything was confirmed over WhatsApp, the staff sent an invoice, and we paid the advance. After driving almost two hours to the resort, we were told that the rules had changed the previous week and that the room with the pool could not be provided. They offered two ordinary rooms instead. The staff admitted it was their mistake but still refused to give us what we had booked and paid for. Their communication was argumentative and quite arrogant. We later realized that the pool room had been given to another group, so it seemed we had simply been misled. They changed the arrangement only after taking the booking and payment. Highly unprofessional, so be very careful before choosing this resort.

The camel ride lasted only one minute, and the downhill sandboarding covered just four metres. The hand drawing also cost extra. None of this was really like the activities advertised at the hotel. The food was focused on being cheap, and even the meat seemed to be under strict control here.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and every room has a private pool and BBQ area. The property is somewhat old, though, so don't arrive with high expectations.
