Radisson Resort Ras Al Khaimah Marjan Island

Mr. Sunil deserves special mention for his professional attitude and excellent hospitality. His support added real value to an otherwise pleasant stay. It’s a good resort for a one-day getaway, with enjoyable facilities and a generally pleasant atmosphere. Room service needs to improve, especially its responsiveness and efficiency. I hope to see better service in the future.

The main pools were both closed for maintenance, leaving only the small beach-side pool available. Worse, its ladder handle was unscrewed and completely loose, which felt like a real safety hazard. After cleaning, management reopened the pool immediately without allowing any buffer time, and the water was visibly cloudy. Our room was already disappointing at check-in. The view was not relaxing, the family room felt too small, and the front desk refused our request to change rooms because of the room category. The sink was dirty, there were no tissues, only one bottle of water, and the bidet had extremely low pressure. Although the air conditioning worked, the property showed obvious maintenance problems. The first evening brought more frustration. Dinner had a very poor selection, so I only had coffee and noodles from the noodle bar. I later had a couple of beers at the bar. Children aren’t allowed there after 10:00 PM, but that rule was fine with us. The beach was also closed during the evening. Breakfast on day two was decent and service was slightly better, though the buffet was still weak for a family resort. There was no chocolate cereal for the children, and the sausages were far too large for a buffet and should have been cut into bite-sized pieces. Housekeeping also mishandled our requests. Four pairs of slippers became two, and a request for two tissue boxes produced only one. We had booked two nights for a relaxing family holiday, but low maintenance, poor attention to detail, and weak internal communication made the property poor value. We raised everything with management, demanded a full refund, and checked out early. It was a complete waste of our time and not a viable holiday option.

The hotel on Al Marian island in Ras Al-Khaima was one of the nicest I’ve stayed in in the UAE. It was extremely clean, and the staff were well trained, professional, and attentive. The location is only a stone’s throw from the new Wynn Casino and has unbelievable views of the Arabian Gulf and sunset. There’s also a pristine private beach with plenty of chases. Manager Anis is a true gentleman whose professionalism is world class. I can highly recommend this facility and will personally return soon.

The clean, child-friendly facilities made this place a very comfortable choice for us, and the staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating. They even helped us fix a flat tire, which we really appreciated. It gave us that feel-at-home feeling during our stay, and we enjoyed it a lot. We’ll definitely come back.
