The Longbeach Campground

The service and care here were amazing. It was my wife's birthday, and the team kindly handled a couple of requests for me. Imitiaz at the reception and Prashant from the service team, you and your teams made the weekend really special for both of us. I'll definitely recommend this place to others.

Our sea-view Dome Suite was enjoyable, especially with the private jacuzzi, and the resort kept both the adults and children busy with water slides, pools, archery, pottery, and bonfires. Mr. Tiku, the daytime security officer, was kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived, and management should recognize staff like him. Still, the experience was mixed. Breakfast lacked both taste and variety, and the pool bar drinks need a lot of work. At breakfast, we saw several live worms on the outside of a large hot-milk container. We reported it immediately and the staff dealt with it quickly, which we appreciated, but that level of hygiene lapse isn't acceptable for a resort of this standard.

The food was a real highlight, especially for vegetarians, and offered good value over our two-day stay. Breakfast and dinner included a strong mix of Indian and Continental dishes, plenty of fresh salads, and an impressive tandoori oven. Gambhir deserves a special mention for the fresh rotis and parathas. The plain pasta counter was disappointing, and the fixed meal times, 7-9 AM and 7-9 PM, felt restrictive. There were plenty of activities too, including snooker, archery, pottery, pasta making, kite flying, bracelet making, and pool slides. Our dome room was clean, spacious, and had a good view and private jacuzzi, although the jacuzzi smelled noticeably of chlorine. The bathroom was spotless, but the open shower spread water across the floor and housekeeping had to clean it after each use. The property seemed smaller than its online photos, though the friendly staff, including Abdulrahman who helped me with archery, made up for that. It is conveniently close to the city center. I recommend choosing a room with an attached bath because the shared toilets can become crowded.

Longbeach Campground was a relaxed, well-organized place for a family stay. Activities ran throughout the day, so the kids stayed happy and occupied from morning to evening. The staff were fantastic with them, always energetic, kind, and attentive. Prakriti, Mary, and Kim were especially wonderful and made the experience memorable for my children. We'll definitely come back.
