Royal Residence Hotel Apartments

The missing bath mat was a small but important problem, since it is needed for basic comfort and safety. More seriously, the reception experience was very poor. The staff member we met was rude, spoke harshly, and did not make us feel welcome. He stayed at the desk talking instead of showing interest in helping guests, and he did not even stand properly to greet us. I work in hospitality myself, so I understand how much the front office shapes a hotel’s first impression. Reception staff should be polite, attentive, professional, and able to handle guests properly. This employee clearly needs training in customer service and guest care. I hope management takes immediate action and improves the standards at Royal Residence, because our stay with a friend was unfortunately uncomfortable.

The hotel had a calm, elegant atmosphere, and the lounge and fitness center were both excellent. I found the room quiet, spacious, and spotless, with a large comfortable bed and modern furniture. The bathroom was luxurious, clean, and well supplied. The attentive, courteous staff also made sure everything was handled smoothly, which made the stay genuinely enjoyable.

The room itself was comfortable and perfectly fine, but the reception staff created a very negative impression. They were rude and unwelcoming, and I noticed them treating other guests in a similar way. Management should take this seriously because that attitude affects everyone’s experience.

For one person or a business trip, the small studio rooms at this cozy hotel and resort are adequate. The main inconvenience is the setting, since the nearest shops and restaurant are roughly 700-1000 metres away on foot. One receptionist was also somewhat rude. Perhaps he’ll see this and improve his behavior.
