The staff are easily the hotel’s greatest asset. Mica at reception is consistently charming, welcoming, and helpful. Saddam and Dihani are warm and friendly, while Manaj is cheerful, alert, and ready to help around the beach and pool. Origins restaurant is also a pleasure, from the warm welcome at arrival to chefs preparing excellent poached eggs and omelets. The food is varied, well prepared, and regularly replenished. Room products smell wonderful, and room service has always been friendly and good. My only complaint is charging for non-motorised watersports such as kayaks and paddle boards. Guests might use them more if they were free. During my 2 weeks, I was the only person using a kayak and nobody used the paddle boards. With the name Vida, a gym, and organised activities, the hotel should encourage an active atmosphere instead of monetising these options.

The atmosphere and service were wonderful, and we enjoyed every part of our stay. We especially want to thank Dipa and Rupa from room cleaning. They prepared such a touching and beautiful surprise for us, something we have never received despite traveling often. That personal attention made the visit feel especially warm and unforgettable. It was clear that the staff genuinely care about their guests. Thank you for making us feel so special.

We booked a weekend at Vida Hotel UAQ for my parents-in-law’s 50th wedding anniversary, but several things fell short of what should have been a special family celebration. Our chalet was beside active construction. Although reception assured us the work would not start early, we were woken by loud noise at around 7:30 AM. The anniversary cake also had to be requested twice despite the occasion being explained. The beach near the chalets looked unclean and poorly maintained. Our Ramadan iftar was disappointing too, with limited choices, very tough meat, and fish without much flavor. Eating outside was uncomfortable because of the many mosquitoes. We expected more from the stay, and hope the hotel uses this feedback to improve the experience.

The heated pool was a real advantage, especially for relaxing in the evening, and the modern facilities were stylish, comfortable, and well maintained. The all-inclusive food was excellent, with a broad selection of high-quality dishes prepared for different tastes. The staff were consistently kind, helpful, and smiling, so we felt genuinely looked after throughout our visit. Vida Hotel in Abu Dhabi delivered the five-star standard we expected, and we truly enjoyed our time there. If we return to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, we would definitely stay at the Vida Hotel again.
