Quiet, private, and laid back, this is the kind of place where you can truly relax. My wife and I stayed for a week in Feb 2026 and enjoyed every minute. Kelcina and her staff take care of all the details, while the clean, bright, new cottages are a pleasure to stay in. The beaches are beautiful and secluded, and the food and drinks at Roddy’s are unsurpassed. Getting to Barbuda isn't especially easy, so ask about helicopter service from Antigua. We also had an incredible sushi lunch at Nobu that practically knocked our flip-flops off.

Our cottage was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The family who owns and operates the property are wonderful people. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. I wish them all the best.

The location is hard to match and well worth the effort involved in reaching it. The owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, including helping us arrange both arrival and departure. The on-site restaurant was excellent and well managed. This island is still undeveloped, although that probably won't last forever. We’re already making plans to return after our wonderful stay in one of the cottages.

We stayed for nine days and found exactly the quiet escape we needed: time alone, beautiful views, long walks, reading, and space to simply be. Kelcina has created an unusually peaceful experience centered on the place, hospitality, beauty, and relaxation. As a Barbuda native, she clearly cares deeply about it, and that care extends to the food and drinks at Roddy’s, thoughtful recommendations, and every part of the guest experience. The family and their team care so much that they start to feel like your own family. It’s also excellent value. There’s plenty to enjoy without being overwhelmed by choices. You can walk the beach, have sunset drinks and dinner without leaving the property, and be only four minutes from Princess Diana’s favorite beach. That means long walks, excellent lobster, and a willingness to deal with some potholes and donkeys on the road. Nobu is even closer for a more elevated meal. A few sandflies come with the sand and tropical setting, and the place suits people who aren't persnickety and enjoy a Bohemian atmosphere with luxury included. From our spot on the beautiful new deck, cocktail in hand, I saw my first untethered horse strolling gently along the beach at sunset. Heaven.

Barbuda feels like an untouched gem, so go before development turns it into another St. Maarten or similar tourist destination. My wife and I stayed for 4 days and immediately wished we’d booked 4 weeks. With a car from Karen’s Car Rentals delivered to our cottage, we explored the island and went 2 days without seeing anyone. The cottages are as beautiful as the photos, with comfortable beds and furniture, clean and well-furnished interiors, remarkable privacy, and a pergola on the beach for each one. The resort is wonderfully quiet. You can feel completely alone while still having the amenities you need. Kelcina and her family arranged everything, from meeting us at the ferry to organizing our flight back to Antigua and coordinating the rental car. The staff were friendly and made us feel like family, and the food and drinks at uncle Roddy’s were amazing. I’ll return many times. This isn't a nightlife destination, but for secluded, peaceful relaxation, it’s a dream.
