Crawlbay Suites

I felt at home almost immediately at Crawlbay suites. The hosts were warm and friendly, breakfast was included, and my room was cozy with everything I needed. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful, which made the whole stay wonderfully relaxing. I'd happily recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet getaway in antigua.

CrawlBay Suites Hotels turned out to be a very fortunate find near English Harbour. We had bought flights to Antigua without booking anywhere, then discovered we were travelling in peak season and couldn't get into any of the 7 hotels friends and Social Media had suggested. This sustainable modeled hotel consists of cottages with modern amenities, and the owners' experience as world travelers shows in their hospitality and attention to cleanliness. It had been operating for less than 2 months when we stayed, so it should keep improving. The cottages face inward, and an exterior wall surrounds the property, which made theft seem unlikely. We left cameras and computers outside, and even had one iPad charging while we were at the beach. There doesn't seem to be a crime issue in Antigua, but that extra sense of security was welcome. A practical warning for exploring Antigua, the nearby town has only one ATM, so bring enough local currency. Crawlbay may become difficult to book because groups or companies could reserve the entire place once word spreads. Book early. We could talk about Antigua endlessly, but we'll simply give this lovely Caribbean jewel a thumbs up, based on our reviews of places around the world.

The resort was such a beautiful oasis, and my boyfriend and I had an amazing time there. The owners and staff were especially friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to come back soon.
