The location is very difficult to beat, and the host was excellent. Turners beach cottages provide clean, comfortable cabins in a more or less traditional style. They aren’t luxurious, but they include everything needed for a stay.

Saturday afternoon is a great time to sit by the ocean, either dining on the beach side or upstairs on the deck, and watch the sunset with a drink. I had the red snapper with garlic butter sauce, fries, salad, and vegetables, and it was delicious. The O.J.signature "knock-out" cocktail also lived up to its name and had a serious punch.

Turner's Beach Cottages consists of short and longer term rental properties near Turners and Turner's Beach in southern Antigua. The mostly wooden buildings follow the style of similarly sized Antiguan homes, but are considerably more luxuriously appointed. Being close to Crab Hill and Johnson's Point makes it possible to enjoy local village life as well as a beach holiday. Turner's Beach has several bars and restaurants, including OJ's, Jackie O's, and Rum Bus Beach, and it’s also a popular stop for land and sea tours. It’s a great place to stay and experience Caribbean life.

We asked, with less than a day’s notice, whether we could get married on their beach, and they treated the request as if we were family. They decorated for us, attended the ceremony, catered brunch afterward, and even helped us reach Legal Affairs in the Capital City of St. John's to obtain permission to marry. Our new friend and Brother, "T" drove us to and from the government offices. What a perfect place, with genuinely warm people. We felt loved and will be back very soon. Special thanks to Ms. Turner, Melly, Phylecia, Brian, Kadish, Claudette, Mr. Ulrich Matthews, who performed our marriage, and my new Brothers Rick and Tash. We love you all.
