We only toured the property rather than staying overnight. Some maintenance had clearly been put off, although the pool and the other facilities were clean and in good condition.

Our hotel had stopped operating after the hurricane, and we didn’t know that until we arrived, so my son and I were pretty desperate. Mrs Sherille Hughes and her wonderful staff found us a pleasant place to stay at Paradise Cove. Their kindness made the five days in Anguilla a great experience, and we even left with new friends. They went well beyond their normal jobs to make us feel welcome.

The setting is beautifully garden-like and feels very private, with one of Anguilla’s most peaceful beaches nearby. The staff and management were excellent, and staying here felt worth every penny.

I’ve been coming here for 8 years and have never been let down. It has that dependable, home-like feel that makes it a great hotel. There’s also a short walk to the most beautiful pristine beach in the world, while it lasts, so make sure to take it.

Quiet and reasonably priced, Paradise Cove works particularly well for business travelers. It’s in the West End, near the larger hotels and restaurants, with the golf course next door and Cove Bay only a short walk away. The staff is very accommodating.
