Milly's Inn

The room was nice and spacious, the place was cool, and the views were great. Getting to the beach was the frustrating part. There was a path leading down, but a locked gate at the bottom seemed to block it, so we had to walk out to the road and go all the way around. Also, although air conditioning wasn’t advertised, it wasn’t made clear upfront that there was none. It was HOT.

Shoal Bay was only a short walk away, which was great for our vacation. The rooms were clean and came with all the basic things we expected. Highly recommended.

Milly's feels like our home away from home now. This was our second stay, over Christmas, and we may have enjoyed it even more than the first time. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, open, and airy, with a covered outdoor seating area. Even without air conditioning, the Anguilla breezes keep it at a perfect temperature. Fredrica, the housekeeper, greets us with a smile every morning, and Apryl, the reservations manager, is always pleasant, professional, and quick to answer questions. Shoal Bay East is only a five-minute walk away, while the rates are affordable enough for any traveler. That value lets us enjoy Anguilla in a way we otherwise couldn’t. We brought friends this time, and they loved Milly's too. They understood why it’s the only place we want to stay and hope to return for a longer visit next winter. Milly's has history, including the story of Milly herself, spacious apartments that work especially well for longer stays, and a location close to the best part of Shoal Bay East. It costs a fraction of what the resorts charge. The place is clean, well-equipped, and local, with a short drive to a good market, a great bakery, and quality dining options in Island Harbor. One note about directions: the current Google Maps location for Milly's is wrong. Access is directly from the road to Island Harbor. Before going down toward Madeariman, take a right to remain on the main road. There’s a large sign along the road to guide you.
