Villa Tequila Sunrise

Tequila Sunrise villa was spotless, beautifully decorated, and looked just like the photos. Heather came each morning to prepare a full breakfast, setting the table differently every day, and she also cleaned and brought fresh towels. Sharing those breakfasts with our friends became one of the best parts of the trip. The pool overlooks the ocean, and the upstairs bedrooms have the same view from their balconies, though I didn't use mine. The east side of the island is consistently breezy, sometimes very windy. There are sheltered patio alcoves, but with six people we occasionally couldn't all find a comfortable spot out of the wind. There is a small rocky beach nearby, but it was really only suitable for pictures, not swimming or sitting out. We rented cars and drove to calmer areas and other beautiful beaches, with anywhere on the island reachable in 30 minutes or less. The final half mile or so to the villa is unpaved and quite bumpy. The upstairs bedrooms are reached from outside, which wasn't a problem for us, although my phone couldn't get wifi upstairs. Even with six guests, there was plenty of seating inside and out, and we enjoyed the pool floaties.
