Zemi Beach House made our list of the top three hotels we’ve stayed at across the many islands we’ve visited. Even though the boutique hotel was at capacity, it never felt crowded, and there were plenty of places to sit around the pool and on the beach. Everything was easy to reach, too, with only a few minutes between the pool and our room. The food was top notch, and I didn’t find anything I disliked. My husband and I also had incredible 5 senses massages at the spa and would happily do that again. One little tip, coffee is served in the lounge in the morning.

The staff are what really set Zemi Beach House apart. Everyone was warm and helpful, remembered details about us, and spoke to us by name. Stacy, John, Hector, Alfonso, and Denacio were among the kindhearted people who took such good care of us. The property itself is beautiful and sits right on world-famous Shoal Bay, with spacious, tastefully decorated rooms. Breakfast each morning and several dinners at 20 Knots were all delicious, and we enjoyed fruit snacks, cool towels, and smoothie samples while relaxing on the white sand. We’ve traveled around the world, and this was one of our very best resort experiences. We will definitely return.

What stood out most was how well my wife and I were treated. I visited the other larger resorts on the island, and none of them made us feel as welcome as this hotel, even though I wasn’t staying at those properties. The hotel itself has a lot to offer, from the infinity pool and direct beach access to the breakfast buffet, welcome bag, welcome drink, and good food selection. The staff are courteous, too. Golf cart service is available for getting between the rooms and front desk, which helps since the property isn’t the island’s largest. The beach has more rocks and coral than some others, so it isn’t the best swimming beach, though that’s not a deal breaker. Snorkeling gear and kayaking are available to rent. I’ve stayed at luxury hotels across the states and in Italy, and this is still my favorite property. Don’t miss the welcome drink.

We keep coming back to Zemi Beach House, having stayed three times over the last year and a half, and we’re already making plans to return again this year. It works just as well for us as a couple as it does with our kids. Our youngest especially loves the Kids Club. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with nice touches such as turndown service and cookies each night. The beach is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are incredibly kind. We also enjoy the food, live music, and amenities, while several other beachfront restaurants are within walking distance. On site, there’s plenty to do, including yoga, snorkeling, kayaking, tennis, the rum room, and paddle boarding. The spa is another highlight, with wonderful services. We highly recommend it.
