Villa Kandara

Kandara was heaven on earth during our two weeks there in December. As a travel agent I'm very particular, but the house went beyond my expectations. Its West End location puts everything within easy reach, while the stunning layout gives families plenty of room, including a cottage with two new bedrooms, a kitchen, and a full gym. The pool was beautiful, and having the beach just off the property was great. The staff's morning breakfasts were better than any restaurant, and I hope to return very soon.

Kandara became especially meaningful to us because my now husband and I got engaged there. It was also one of the most beautiful villas my family and I have ever experienced. The villa was immaculate, the staff warm and lovely, and the views spectacular. The location made it easy to reach the arch, shoal bay west, and, with a short drive, meads bay. It's a true gem on Anguilla and a stay we'll always cherish.

The West End location makes Kandara a great base for beaches, restaurants, and resorts, while the villa itself still feels like a private island oasis. Its lush grounds and sunset views are gorgeous, possibly the best on the island, and every part of the property has been thoughtfully designed for comfort and luxury. Sabrina, Anna, and the rest of the staff kept our glasses and bellies full. Kandara is beyond fabulous, and I can't wait to return.

We spent a week at Kandara with family, and after visiting Anguilla for decades, we found it to be the most luxurious accommodation we've had there. The cliffside West End setting is secluded but close enough to bike to Picante and Tramonto. We loved the room views, the pristine pool down the steps, and the small private beach. Every design detail felt carefully executed, and the staff were gracious, helpful, and never intrusive. We can't wait to go back.
