We were lucky to find such a welcoming place. The staff checked us in before 12:00 and were helpful from the moment we arrived. The smells from the kitchen give the building a real home-like atmosphere, and the food and beer we tried were all top quality. Our room was clean and spacious enough, and they had explained the glass bathroom beforehand, so there were no surprises. The kitchen can sound a little noisy before bedtime, but our baby boy slept normally and we slept well too. Breakfast was delicious, including fresh eggs made just as we wanted. The location is excellent, across the bridge from the lovely streets, and the nearby area is also worth wandering around. Parking is a 2-3 minute walk away and costs 500leki. With only 3 rooms available, book ahead. We loved staying here.

Fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and beautifully presented dishes made this an exceptional meal. Each bite felt carefully considered and refined, with great food matched by an equally enjoyable atmosphere.

Amalia Boutique Hotel was warm, welcoming, and unforgettable. The staff helped our large Canadian family with everything, from our luggage to settling in, and made us feel at home. Dinner was a real highlight, served in a beautiful restaurant with rustic stone walls, twinkling lights, and an authentic, almost magical atmosphere. The Albanian dishes they introduced us to were incredible, and the service was just as impressive, attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. The hotel was clean and cozy, with a lot of heart. A real gem in Berat, highly recommended.

The food was excellent and the staff were great. The rooms need some upgrades, and the a/c needs servicing.

Amalia Homemade Food Restaurant made our visit to Berat especially memorable. The staff were warm and attentive, and it was obvious they care a lot about both the food and the experience. Every dish tasted fresh and full of authentic Albanian flavor, with real care in the preparation. The cozy welcome made us feel at home right away. We’re already looking forward to returning.
