Breakfast was amazing, probably the best in Albania so far. The area is calm and the view over the valley is wonderful. Parking is about 200 meters away rather than directly in front of the building. Communication was only in italiano, with English handled through a smartphone.

Landi was a charming host, while Rovena's breakfasts and hospitality were unmatched. The building and room were beautiful and tucked into a quiet corner of Berat. We had planned to stay one night, liked it so much that we added a second, and I’d highly recommend it for Berat.

The view is fantastic and the room is sealed so well that it’s quiet as a tomb. Getting there means a slight uphill walk past the ethnographic museum into a peaceful neighborhood, although the barking dogs are everywhere. The husband and wife who run the place are kind, generous, and very helpful. They don’t speak English, but Google Translate makes it manageable. The breakfasts are wonderful too, and this was the best day of my trip.

In the old city, close to the castle, this is a quiet and picturesque spot. The rooms are squeaky clean, and breakfast on the veranda is wonderful. Definitely recommend.
