Edart Hotel

We’ve stayed here a few times, and the restaurant is the real highlight. The seafood and fish are always fresh, and the pasta and risotto are amazing. Finish with their sorbet or ice cream and your day or evening is guaranteed to feel better.

Our third-floor room was simple but very clean, with a balcony and a lovely view of the sea and beach. Breakfast came with the stay: eggs, local cheese pies, fruit, yoghurt and coffee. The restaurant was quick with the service, and the homemade ice cream and sorbet were delicious and on the house. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and people at the nearby shops and restaurants were too. It’s an easy, affordable beachfront holiday with everything you need.

The seafood pasta was fine, but it felt pretty ordinary and forgettable. It had a few tiny shrimp, half a crab and one mussel, like a mix of whatever seafood was available. The flavor wasn’t bad, just not particularly interesting. A friend ordered a whole fish and said it was amazing, one of the best he’d had, so maybe I picked the wrong dish. I can only speak to what I tried, though, and for me it was a 3 out of 5. The setting is a strong point: Hotel Restaurant EDART is right by the boardwalk, with a beach view and a pretty atmosphere. It was busy when we visited, and the menu has a wide seafood selection. The staff were friendly and the service was nice, but my meal didn’t leave much of an impression.

My wife and I had a great experience here, especially with the customer service. The cleaners, chefs and restaurant staff all showed good hospitality. We’ll stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Albania.
