Gimi Apartments 1+1

The owner was great at communicating, and the beach is only a few steps away. Really good value for the money.

The flat itself is modern, clean, and lovely, even though the stairs and lift might make you expect something else. It’s perfectly located, and we had a sea view. Gimi was lovely, and we highly recommend his airport transfer service. There was building work noise every day except Sunday. I guess that can’t be avoided if things are going to improve. A bit more information in the room would help, especially about where to put the rubbish when the bin fills up. We tied the bags and left them on the balcony. It would also have been useful to have taxi and nearby restaurant suggestions, plus clear details about return airport transfers or onward travel. We didn’t understand the transfer arrangements and spotted the driver while waiting for the taxi we’d booked. We felt bad, since we would have preferred him to get the money, but our other taxi had already arrived.

The beach is less than 10 m away, and shops, a pharmacy, and other essentials are close by. The location is very beautiful. Just keep in mind that the beach straight in front ends at a concrete cliff, so you get into the water by stairs, though it’s shallow. The only downside is that the living room corner sofa doesn’t convert into a bed.

It’s an apartment right on the beach and there’s private parking. Shame we couldn’t use the air conditioning because its remote was missing. Luckily, it wasn’t very hot.
