Hotel Kristal

We needed a room for a couple of nights and found this small boutique hotel, with 25 rooms, right by the water and close to plenty of restaurants and shops. The owner, Elio, looked after us well. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, and the staff were very nice. They even helped me print a document. Thanks, everyone.

We arrived at the last minute without a reservation. The rooms were nice and spacious enough for four people to get a good night’s sleep, and the showers had plenty of room with both hot and cold water. The breakfast had a good variety and ran late enough for sleepy people to make it. The employees were decent, especially the receptionist. A decent hotel for a holiday. I’d go again.

The two young women at reception were lovely, and that was really the only good part. The beaches smell like poo, and this definitely isn’t a three-star place. Its location is right on the boulevard, but we booked a triple room with a sea view and, according to the receptionist, the hotel doesn’t have that kind of room. Only double rooms have sea views. The only good things were the sea view and the location. The breakfast was okay, though not bad. Everything else was a horrible experience. The staff were rude, especially the old man, who yelled at my family, and the young receptionist was arrogant and rude too. The rooms were filthy. The sheets weren’t clean, the curtains smelled bad, there was hair in the toilet and no toilet paper, and there were bedbugs. I itched for days. The free parking listed everywhere on Booking and Google for Kristal hotel was a scam. There was no parking, and that was why we chose it. We also paid extra for a balcony and sea view, but they gave us a different room without either. There’s no elevator, so I had to carry all my bags myself, and nobody offered to help. Zero stars, don’t go here!
