Sun Hotel

Before we even arrived, the hotel was quick to answer our questions, which made us feel we’d picked the right place for our romantic getaway. My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Sun Hotel -Durres, with great service from every department. Mr. Orgest, Meri and Xheni at reception, and the F&B team, Enea, Era,Dariel, deserve a special thank you. Housekeeping was great too. We enjoyed everything, especially the excellent beach. Highly recommend, and hope we can stay again. Thank you for everything.

It’s a quiet hotel, about a 15 second walk from the beach, and isn’t a party place. The staff were amazing, kind and professional. I’d definitely come back.

The workers were so kind and lovely, and the rooms were clean. There wasn’t much variety in the food, but it was okay for the price. I’d visit again.

The beach was okay, though most of the time it was very dirty, with trash everywhere, even in the sea. It was really sad to see. The staff barely spoke English, and the ones who could weren’t much help when we had a problem. We stayed for 7 days and weren’t happy with the service. Our room was never cleaned, we didn’t get fresh bedsheets at all, and our towels were changed just once. Food was bland, not very tasty, and the same options came around every morning and night. Often the same dinner dish was served multiple nights. We won’t be back. There are many better options for the same price.
