Vila Belvedere

We were a group of 35 on a business trip, and the hotel has a lovely pool area and yard. My room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed and bedding. The cleaning lady and some reception staff were kind. But the food was often poorly prepared and not fresh, except for the salads and appetizers. The salad had a hair in it, and the meat was poor quality and badly prepared. I was sexually harassed in several ways by a waiter called Antonio, who made rude comments to me and other female colleagues. My colleagues' car was scratched twice in three days in the hotel parking lot. We believe it was because the plates were from a country some staff dislike. There were no other guests at the hotel, so it must have been someone on staff. It’s such a shame, because the hotel has a lot of potential. My main recommendation to management is to change the staff.

The garden and pool are beautiful, and the management were friendly and ready to handle all our requests. It’s a quiet, pleasant place close to the beach. Warmly recommend it 🌸

We came with a big family group and had a great time. Everyone made us feel welcome throughout our stay, and the staff were eager to help. Most could speak several languages. The food was an amazing part of the experience too. Vasil, the Host, took time to explain the dishes and suggest what to try, and went out of his way to make sure we had a good visit. The ladies at reception were helpful and kept smiling even when things were stressful. The hotel gives you both sides of the experience: it’s a two-minute walk to the beach, with private beach access, but without the rowdy feel of beachfront hotels. It also has one of the few pools in the Durrës beach area. Summer 2024 was a blast.

From the breakfast buffet through dinner, every meal was a pleasure. The dishes had fresh ingredients, impressive variety, and carefully developed flavors. We also noticed the attention to detail when eating in the restaurant and ordering room service. If great food is what you’re after, this place delivers. Highly recommended for food lovers!
