Vila Cano

The owners were friendly, and the chicken outside the front door was a bright spot. I only stayed because my phone company had left me unable to call or text, so changing hotels wasn't an option. The room was in rough shape. There was a strong dirty, greasy smell when I checked in, and I had to ask for the stained floor beside the bed to be cleaned. The door and lock were broken, leaving a gap of about 1 cm where you could nearly see inside. The blankets were stained too. The second one I requested was pink with green marks. On my first night, the smell of the freshly washed floor and shower masked it, but on the second night the blanket and pillow had one of the worst smells I've ever encountered. I doubt even a homeless person would want that blanket. On the second and third nights, a loud electrical device ran constantly, so I couldn't sleep either night. The TV was unplugged, and all the outlets were too far away. Across my three showers, I got no hot water the first time, ran out after five minutes the second time, and couldn't finish with hot water the third. I was given only half a small roll of toilet paper for three days and had to ask for more.
