Real Scampis

The Vodafone Night at Real Scampis turned into a fantastic evening. Burn Band provided energetic live music, and the lively atmosphere made the event feel unforgettable. With excellent food, good company, and plenty of fun and emotion, it was a wonderful experience for everyone there. What a miracle!

Set right inside the castle walls, this restaurant has an incredible setting, with attractive gardens all around and a great atmosphere. Kevin, our waiter, was excellent. The pizza was a real success. It was top notch and so large that we could only finish half each. The food is clearly important here, and if we have enough time, we’ll come back to see whether the rest of the menu is just as good.

The setting is genuinely one of a kind, with Roman ruins, beautifully maintained gardens, vines spreading over the old castle wall, and an interior decorated in traditional Albanian style. The restaurant food is very good too. We used to stop here for lunch while traveling across Albania, and we recently stayed at the hotel for the first time. The hotel matched the quality of the rest of the place, although the AC in our room was rather underpowered. Service is excellent, though somewhat slow. I honestly don’t understand why the average rating is only 4.5 stars. There really isn’t another place like this.

Inside the castle walls, the café is surrounded by gardens and pleasant walkways, making it a beautiful place to spend time. The service was impeccable as well. Although we were foreigners, the staff were very friendly and did their best to help with the language barrier. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re nearby.
