Univers Resort

The location is convenient, about a ten-minute walk from Elbasan centre, and the room had wonderful views. The bed was comfortable and the room a decent size. The bathroom felt a little worn, though, and without a shower door water splashed everywhere. The staff were kind and the service was brilliant. Thanks for having us.

This is a basic hotel with reasonable prices and breakfast included, although coffee costs extra. The rooms are clean, but the facilities are somewhat dated. Water leaked into our room from the shower, and the bathroom supplies were very limited, just small shampoo packets. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Univers Hotel because of the bad weather and found the room spacious, clean, and comfortable, with large bathrooms, air-conditioning, and comfortable beds. The receptionist was gentle and very polite, and breakfast is included for every room. The hotel is near the state road leading toward the southeastern borders and cities such as Korçë and Pogradec. WiFi wasn't available for some reason, though we didn't ask about it.

Breakfast was freshly prepared to order and consistently delicious, while the restaurant and coffee house had an excellent menu and very good hot drinks. The hotel is also well placed on the main road into Elbasan, close to a supermarket, money exchange, and the highway. Everything was tidy and well maintained inside and out. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the staff were exceptionally hospitable, responding to requests at any time through the 24-hour reception. They clearly work hard to maintain the same quality throughout the property.
