The lovely couple who run this place are what made it stand out for me. Their care felt sincere and warm, and when I arrived, the lady helped me find places, suggested activities, and sorted out a few things in the room. Though it's outside the old town, I liked being able to see more local life. It's a peaceful, very clean hotel at the bottom of the street leading up to the old town and castle. There are more local restaurants and grocery stores around here than uphill. I'd highly recommend it.

The rooftop was a cozy spot for morning coffee or tea at night, and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby, though most serve chicken along with other things. The castle is a long walk, but taxis are around the corner if you need one. The room was comfy, and this felt like the best value for money, with a host who had the warmest heart in Albania. A good place to get away while staying in the city. I'd recommend this pricey place. It was worth the stay.😀

I needed a room at the last minute for just one night, and this couple were friendly and really helpful. The lady speaks three languages, maybe more, so communication should be easy. The room and bathroom were so clean I almost felt bad using them :D Excellent service and attitude. Highly recommended.

The owner was extremely kind and helpful, and the room was clean and well equipped. The rooftop has a nice view of the city and castle. It's in the new town area, a good base in Gjriokaster if you're carrying heavy luggage. The bus stop by the main road gas station is a 10-minute walk away, though getting to the castle means a steep 30-minute walk. For less walking, a bus for 30 lek can take you uphill to the old town.

The host at Eden Hotel was always ready to help, from explaining what to see nearby to booking bus tickets and recommending restaurants. The hotel sits between the new and old city, with parking spots nearby. Rooms were clean and had a large double bed, table, TV, and air conditioning. I'd highly recommend it.
