I didn't stay in a room, so my five-star room rating is really for the restaurant. The waiter greeted me warmly, and the place felt cosy, relaxed, and family friendly. I ordered the sharing hot dishes, a selection of Albanian food: meatballs in tomato sauce, moussaka, cabbage stuffed with rice, aubergine filled with vegetables, two falafel-like balls whose name I can't remember, and two different pies. Everything was tasty by itself and worked well together. The meatballs were my favourite, though it was all excellent. I eat a lot and was still pretty full, so this is definitely a meal for two. At the price, sharing it is a great deal. A great dinner and a fantastic introduction to Albanian food.

At Furra Restaurant, the moussaka was the best I’ve ever had, rich, flavourful, and cooked just right. The sample plate appetizer was excellent too. Service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend!

It was quiet when we went, though I’m sure the restaurant gets extremely busy in peak season. This was my first time trying traditional Albanian food, and I was really impressed. My daughter can be a bit fussy, but she liked the chicken wrap. Recommend.

We spent the night here after a delicious dinner at the restaurant, then had an excellent breakfast in the morning. The room was comfortable and restful, and everything was well organized. The atmosphere felt warm and relaxing, while the food and service were better than we expected. Great hospitality, good food, and a pleasant stay all in one. We’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone after a memorable experience.

The Albanian dishes are made with care and prepared properly, and the restaurant service is amazing. I love the place, the food, and the staff. Every time I come, I feel good and relaxed. The rooms are clean and really comfortable, so we’ll keep coming whenever we’re in Gjirokaster. Thanks, Furra!
