From the terrace, you can look out over the whole historic part of the stone city, and the evening air makes sitting there with coffee or Raki especially lovely. The house has distinctive decor made by the owner, and the traditional food brings back flavors you want to carry with you. Service, cleanliness, and the little details were all pleasant too. The owners are so warm that it feels like being at home, or back at your grandparents' house. We had a memorable evening here and plan to return. Thank you for the lovely time, Guest House Bake!

A calm morning in the stone city, with the welcoming people, the characteristic house of Gjirokastra, and its thoughtful decor. The traditional dishes were delicious too. Congratulations, Guest House Restaurant Bake!

We stopped for a light lunch while walking down from Zeke house. The family were very friendly, and it was a quiet spot with a lovely valley view. We had bureke, salad, and Giant Beans. Those beans were the best we've had anywhere in Albania or Greece. They also brought us plum juice, which was non-alcoholic, and complimentary watermelon. Thank you!

We returned for breakfast after a great conversation with the owner, who suggested places to visit and helped us find family. We'd come from New York to see where my wife and sister-in-law's family had lived in Gjirokastra. Breakfast was the freshest and most delicious food we've ever eaten. Faleminderit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
