Right in the city center, with public parking just a minute away. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is buffet-style, and the staff are very friendly. Prices are reasonable too. I recommend this place to stay in Gjirokatra.

The hotel sits in a beautiful mountain setting, and the rooms and bathrooms are lovely, tastefully decorated, and furnished. The streets are lined with shops and restaurants, with a castle at the center. A charming, friendly hotel, highly recommended.

The breakfast was delightful and a lovely way to start the day. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout, and their attentiveness made the stay better. The rooms are well appointed, the shared areas inviting, and cleanliness is clear across the whole property. A top choice in Gjirokaster, with a great mix of comfort, service, and quality. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Breakfast was generous and delicious, with plenty of local flavors. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always checking that I had what I needed. Argjiro Hotel is right in the heart of Gjirokastër, steps from the old bazaar and historic landmarks. It's a beautifully restored building that brings together traditional charm and modern comfort. My room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly decorated, with stunning views of the stone rooftops and surrounding mountains. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity and comfort in Gjirokastër.

We'd stayed at several other Albanian hotels for much less. For what this room cost, it was tiny, and the shower was difficult to turn on, and we're not overweight. The website photos were very misleading about how both the hotel and room actually looked.
