Once we got there, the staff were nice and friendly, and the hotel is actually quite close to the old town. Finding it was a different story: Google Maps got the directions completely wrong, so we parked and walked up some crazy narrow roads before someone came to show us the way. Our room was in the attic and very cramped. We asked to switch, but they said the hotel was full. At breakfast the next morning, we hardly saw anyone, which seemed odd.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the staff were amazing, always smiling and happy to help with anything. We had a perfect two-night stay in the old town center, yet it was peaceful and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer. THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN GJIROKASTER.

After walking Gjirokaster's steep cobbled streets, having the pool to cool off in was such a treat. The room was clean and comfortable, and we felt cared for as soon as we arrived. Most of all, the staff were so kind with our 1.5-year-old and made sure they felt happy and at home. That made a real difference for us as a family. We're grateful for all the hospitality, thank you for everything!

We slept really well in the beautiful, clean rooms, and the friendly staff spoke good English. The pool was lovely after a hot day in Gjirokaster, and breakfast was great. Finding Hotel Praga took a bit of effort at first because Google Maps hasn't caught up with Gjirokaster's roads, but once you've found it, getting there is easy and it's worth it. No complaints, we'd recommend it.

The welcome was warm, and the breakfast was great, especially the traditional pancakes. This gorgeous hotel is right in central Gjirokaster. The room was clean and was probably the best one we had on our trip to Albania.
