Fafa Beach Hotel

The restaurant deserves special mention for its superb views. We could choose between a table overlooking the sea and one near the swimming pool, and the food was delicious. The waiter gave us advice about local specialties and even helped with a wheelchair so we could reach a more secluded table. His service was exceptional.

The beach and pool were pleasant and not overcrowded, and our room was very clean. Staff were super friendly, and being so close to Durrës was a great part of the location. The bathroom was fairly standard, although it sometimes smelled a little like sewage and had some rust, so it was only okay. I also had an allergic reaction to some food here. Anyone with allergies should bring their anti allergy medication just in case. Despite that, it was a great stay overall.

The food was delicious and the location is right on the beach, but I would not rate the complex above three stars. It is huge and busy, so it is not suitable if you want a quiet, calm holiday. Our room was large and the pillows and bed were good, yet there was no iron, no chair, and the walls were in poor condition. The all inclusive drinks were cheap copies of world brands, such as Cola instead of Coca Cola. I would recommend the beach massage, especially the great girls from Bali and Ughanda.

One morning, while we were sleeping, water started coming through the ceiling of our room, and two places in the toilet were leaking as well. After that, they moved us to another room, where we found a dirty sheet and a bathroom with mold. I was not satisfied with the rooms and do not recommend this hotel.
