I’ve stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row, and I plan to return every summer. The rooms are spacious and lovely, while the service is genuinely good. Whatever you ask for, the staff try to provide it. The guy at reception deserves special mention. He works very hard and always tries his best to keep everyone happy. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and it works well for families or friends. As an Albanian living abroad, I honestly love this place and definitely recommend it 😊

The hotel is only three to five minutes from the sea, which is a good point, and the reception guy is friendly and willing to help. The rooms also look modern and stylish. Still, I’d rate it three stars at most, and that should be the maximum hotel rating. There’s no elevator, only long staircases, and the courtyard has no real parking. Exactly two spaces are available. Otherwise you have to find a place in the street around the corner, if you’re lucky, or park beside smelly trash bins. All apartments are on the fourth floor under the roof, so in 40 degree weather the room becomes a sauna because the AC can’t be left on while you’re away. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant on the way to the sea, but the food variety is minimal, so you should expect the same thing throughout your stay. Cleaning happens every three to four days. The market in the same building is useful when toilet paper runs out, and you may want to bring your own towels because ours were torn. The beds are fine, but a booked room with an extensible sofa won’t actually have one. The bathroom is acceptable apart from the shower. Half of it has a glass wall and the other half is open, turning the floor into a pool. At least they provide a squigy broom-like thing to drain it.

Once we found the room, it was clean and basically fine, with no complaints about that part. We booked through booking.com, but the person who last cleaned it had left a mop and bucket in the shower, which looked unprofessional. There were also no fitted duvet covers. Finding the entrance was the bigger problem. The location was absolutely awful to navigate. Our group went around the building about five times before we worked out where to go, and only an employee we happened to meet could help us. There were no signs or clear indication of the entrance.

The front desk guy was incredibly kind. He was welcoming, attentive, and very helpful, and the customer service was the strongest part of the stay. The hotel itself doesn’t live up to the “luxe” name. It’s actually an apartment building with the top floor converted into a hotel. Although it says beachfront, it is on the main road, on the street beside the beach. There is no elevator, so guests must climb four flights of stairs, making it unsuitable for elderly or disabled people. The rooms look much nicer in the pictures than they do in person, where the cheap renovation becomes obvious. Every bathroom had a mop. I first put ours outside, thinking the cleaning lady had forgotten it, but she returned it and said every room had one. We soon discovered why, since shower water doesn’t drain and spreads across the whole floor. Some AC units are directly above the bed and blow onto your face all night. The hotel is close to the boardwalk, so live music makes it noisy, while the main-road location means opening the balcony door can bring trash smells inside. The beds have no mattress protectors or fitted sheets, so if you move around, you may end up sleeping directly on the mattress. It’s fine if you’re on a budget, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a nice family hotel.

The service and staff were horrible, and the view and beach shown in the pictures and videos were completely different from reality because they were fake. When we tried to leave early, violence was used against us. We left, and we recommend never going here.
