HORRIBLE! This place was dirty, disgusting, and unfriendly. When we arrived, we were told to cancel our reservation on Booking because they had to pay a small fee for arranging it. Otherwise, they said they wouldn’t let us use the swimming pool. Threat? Excuse me? At 9:35 am, we wanted to go swimming, but they told us we had to pay 10€. I pointed out that check-out was at 11am, clearly written on Booking, and she replied, “I don’t care, I’m saying that you have to leave now.” I don’t understand why they acted this way when they could expect me to write a review about it.

The owners were really nice. They don’t speak English, but their daughter does, and when we felt cold in the evening, the owners even brought us hot tea. We stayed for one night. The rooms were clean, although the humidity made them feel very cold in May. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and its motion-sensor light has such a short timer that you can’t shower without waving your hand to keep it on.

I traveled 400 km after booking online and being told that my reservation was confirmed. When I arrived, they said I hadn’t booked and I didn’t receive a room. I don’t recommend this hotel at all. My overall summary is 0.

Friendly hosts and a delicious breakfast buffet made Villa Aljor feel very welcoming and cozy. It’s located about 10 minutes from the Adriatic Sea.

Be careful when booking online. I reserved a room through the internet, but when I arrived, they said all the rooms had been sold and there was nothing available for me and my family. This is the most horrible hotel I’ve ever experienced, and I don’t recommend it.
